Hi Reader, I wanted to let you know about another place where I’ve been writing and sharing reflections on career transition, discernment, and what comes next. Earlier this summer, I launched a LinkedIn newsletter called At the Crossroads. While Wisdom of the Heart (which you receive monthly by email) offers a broader, more reflective exploration of meaningful work, life transitions, and the inner journey, At the Crossroads is more specifically focused on the questions and realities that arise in mid- and late-career transitions. My newest edition is “When You Know You Need a Career Change, but Can’t Leave Yet.” It explores an experience I hear often: knowing something significant needs to change while also recognizing that walking away immediately may not be wise -- or even possible. Sometimes the work of moving forward begins with creating the conditions that will make a larger change possible. You can read the most recent edition on LinkedIn here. If these kinds of conversations are relevant to you, you can also subscribe to At the Crossroads on LinkedIn to be notified of future editions. And, as always, I’m grateful to have you here as a Wisdom of the Heart reader. May you trust your next faithful step. Blessings, Lisa |

At the farmers' markets, tomatoes and zucchini linger beside apples, hard-shell squash, and other signs of the season ahead. Summer and autumn seem to be sharing the landscape for a while. I appreciate this gradual turning. It reminds me that...
What a Different Rhythm Reveals Hi Reader, Summer has its own way of rearranging our days. Many of us are still tending meaningful work, responsibilities, and personal priorities while also wanting to leave room for family visits, spontaneous invitations, time outside, and the experiences that make summer feel like summer. We want to keep important things moving without scheduling every hour so tightly that there is no room to enjoy the life happening around us. Even when our responsibilities...
The Gift of a Spacious Path Hi Reader, As summer arrives with fuller light, warmer days, and the invitation to move a little more slowly, I’ve been noticing my own desire for spaciousness. Not necessarily a dramatic pause or a complete clearing of the calendar, but definitely more room to breathe. More unhurried time. More space to listen inward before rushing into the next thing. At the same time, I’ve been deep in the process of creating a new Career Exploration Workbook and Toolkit for...
