When your career no longer feels like the right fit…

Hi Reader,

Have you ever reached a point in your career where what once felt right no longer does?

Maybe you’ve outgrown the role that once energized you.
Maybe you’re questioning whether to stay, to leave, or to make a shift.
Or maybe you simply sense that something needs to change, but you can’t quite name what.

That’s what it means to be at a career crossroads.

Today I’m opening up a new small group experience called Career Crossroads: Discerning Your Way Forward.

It’s a 4-session journey designed to help you:

  • Name honestly the “room” you’re in right now.
  • Pay attention to the inner signals of your body, heart, and spirit.
  • Find courage and clarity in the in-between space.
  • Begin discerning a way forward that aligns with who you are becoming.

This isn’t about rushing into a decision or creating a 5-year plan. It’s about slowing down, listening deeply, and discovering what your crossroads might be inviting you toward.

If you’ve been circling without clarity or feeling stuck, I’d love to invite you to join us.

With clarity and grace,

Lisa

P.S. If this isn’t the right thing for you, would you share this with a friend or colleague who might be at their own career crossroads?

Who Am I Becoming Now? Hi Reader, Over the past few weeks, I’ve been struck by how unpredictable this season has felt. One day it’s 80 degrees and full of light… the next, snow, dark clouds, or heavy winds roll through. Even here in the mid-Atlantic area, the swings have been dramatic -- warmth, then cold, then storms, even tornados, that seem to come out of nowhere. In some ways, it feels like a reflection of the larger moment we’re living in. There is so much happening in the world right...

Hi Reader, Spring is approaching fast. We are already being teased with some warm sunny days and there's a subtle shift in the air, the feeling that something new is beginning to stir. But here’s a question I often sit with at this time of year: Are you stepping into this season with intention, or simply drifting into it? Nature moves through its seasons with wisdom and rhythm. Yet in our own lives, we often move from one season to the next without pausing to notice what is changing within...

Hi Reader, Last week I offered a reflection for Well for the Journey's Well Being Wednesday that explored a question that feels especially relevant in our times: What if fragmentation is not the deepest truth about us? Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. in Letter From A Birmingham Jail wrote: “We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.” Even when life feels divided…even when relationships feel...
